Miss Linda Memorial Scholarship

Not Listed

“Miss Linda Rogers was a special child care teacher to so many, including Spencer Luebbe (son of NTC employee Micki Dirks-Luebbe). When she came to work at NTC years ago Spencer started full-time day care for the first time. Both were both apprehensive but Miss Linda instantly put us both at ease. She was so caring and loving to Spencer, helping him grow and develop for two years here at the Kanga Room. She was so patient with him and taught him so much. Spencer learned so many new things during his time with her and she prepared him to be successful in elementary school. Spencer misses her dearly and loves to talk about her when he visits the NTC Campus. He shows me the places they visited together and talks about all the special moments they shared. Miss Linda was not just important to Spencer, she was important to the entire Dirks-Luebbe family as well. They had peace knowing their child was receiving loving care when they couldn’t be with him. Miss Linda was a unique woman who loved children and this scholarship was created to honor her memory by supporting an Early Childhood program student.”
